In the USA, Vallourec is the leading domestic producer of premium tubular solutions. The Group primarily serves the unconventional industry onshore, and offshore Gulf of Mexico oil and gas markets through its sales entity Vallourec USA Corporation. Key products include Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG), Line Pipe, Drill Pipe, threading services of VAM® premium joints, and Vallourec Tube-Alloy solutions.
With market needs evolving from standard products to a demand for customized characteristics for critical environments, Vallourec listens to its customers and has developed a complete line of products and services to meet its clients’ strictest requirements.
This strategic orientation is driven by a strong engineering culture, and backed by skilled support teams. We emphasize quality at all levels and responding to technical challenges in a dynamic and proactive way.
On the OCTG side the principal production subsidiaries are Vallourec Star, VAM USA, and Vallourec Tube-Alloy® .

Vallourec USA offers a comprehensive range of tubular solutions for the needs of industrial, line pipe and power generation applications with products from its European and Brazilian mills.
Steel Pipe:
Vallourec Star is North America’s leading producer of seamless Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG), Line & Standard Pipe, and Coupling Stock dedicated to oil and gas applications. Vallourec Star produces hot-rolled seamless tubular products in sizes ranging from 2 3/8″ – 10 3/4″, and has capability to heat treat casing up to 18″. All of the Vallourec Star facilities are API and ISO 9001 certified.
With operations in Youngstown, Ohio, Houston, Texas and Muskogee, Oklahoma, the facilities are strategically located to fully serve U.S oil and gas existing and emerging markets.
Threading:
The VAM® North America manufacturing facilities located in the USA, Mexico and Canada provide our customers a complete premium connection portfolio in close proximity to their operations.
Our mills are staffed with highly skilled personnel and equipped with modern equipment capable of producing tubulars, couplings and accessories for the oil and gas market to the tightest of tolerances demanded by premium connection applications.
Tubular Accessories:
Vallourec Tube-Alloy® offers a full range of tubing and casing accessories that deliver enhanced performance and production, including couplings, pup joints and a variety of connectors to name a few. Vallourec Tube-Alloy also offers Vacuum Insulated Tubing (VIT). For more information, download our VIT catalog.
Complex threading and machining is Vallourec Tube-Alloy’s specialty. The company is licensed to apply a wide range of API, premium and proprietary threading services on tubing, casing and drill pipe in sizes up to 22 inches at its facilities or at customer locations.

Vallourec state-of-the-art USA facilities produce tubulars designed for oil and gas applications onshore and offshore.
Our mission is to provide customers with solutions that deliver the performance, standards and safety they expect for their most demanding applications. This includes quality casing, tubing, line and standard pipe, and drill pipe, manufactured with tight tolerances that contribute to the success of our customers’ operations.
We also develop, test, and qualify VAM® premium connections for the harshest environments. Threading of VAM® and Atlas Bradford® products are available from four locations near oil and gas fields in the USA, as well as from our operations in Canada and Mexico.
Our drilling entity offers the latest in competitive and time saving technologies onshore and offshore.
Vallourec Tube-Alloy provides products and services including accessories, custom threading, Thermocase® (VIT) in North America and everywhere in the world.

In the US, our sales teams in Houston, Texas provide service and support to our customers. The sales group in the US is supported by Vallourec’s Industry Technology Department in Europe. Its engineering experts and product managers work in conjunction with our six global research centers to develop optimal solutions to meet our customer’s challenges.
