Info Covid-19

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), a federal agency operating under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, issued on March 19, 2020 Guidance on Identification of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers During COVID-19. This Guidance provides a list of the 16 Critical Infrastructure sectors and is available at: https://www.cisa.gov/identifying-critical-infrastructure-during-covid-19. These unprecedented state-wide mandates are intended to reduce the rate of positive COVID-19 cases that are spiking in number across the United States.
Vallourec and all US entities including Vallourec Star, Vallourec Tube-Alloy, VAM USA, and Serimax fall within one of the 16 sectors considered to be “critical”. Vallourec’s workers are supporting or enabling the following critical sectors: critical manufacturing, and energy. Essential personnel are necessary for Vallourec to maintain critical infrastructure and are therefore exempted from the Shelter-in-Place/Stay at Home orders for purposes of working outside their homes and commuting to and from work.
Additionally, Vallourec utilizes numerous critical supplier companies that provide necessary materials, services and personnel to assist in sustaining Vallourec’s operations. As such, Vallourec requests that critical suppliers continue to provide necessary materials, services and personnel. Vallourec employees, contractors and temporary employees assigned to essential functions and are requested to continue to report to work, provided they follow the guidelines set forth in previous Vallourec COVID-19 safety communications.
