Tubular Essentials: A Comprehensive Educational Experience
Tubular Essentials is more than just a training program; it’s an educational journey that empowers our customers with a deep understanding of the tubular industry.
Our sessions are carefully designed to provide a balanced view of steelmaking processes and products, using Vallourec’s expertise as a backdrop for learning.
An Insightful Program for New Energies
As the energy landscape evolves, the need for informed decision making in renewable energy projects grows. Our Tubular Essentials program now extends to New Energies customers in the US, offering them insights into how tubular solutions can enhance their renewable energy initiatives, including hydrogen, carbon capture & storage, and geothermal projects. We focus on the practical application of knowledge, ensuring our customers gain actionable insights to apply to their projects.
Dedicated Edition for New Energies Customers
Recognizing the unique challenges and opportunities within the New Energies sector, we recently hosted a special edition of Tubular Essentials tailored for this audience. 15 participants from 5 different companies attend the event It held in Youngstown, Ohio, from June 19 to June 20, 2024. The 2-day program combined classroom presentations with Vallourec’s mill visits. Modules presented by experts provided insights into main manufacturing processes, including steelmaking, seamless pipe rolling, heat treatment and non-destructive testing. Participants were then able to watch these different processes in action during the tour of the facilities that followed. The second classroom session was more focused on tubular products and specifications. The technical experts reviewed the existing standards on the market, as well as tubular products specifications.
Positive Engagement and Future Outlook
The feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the educational value and relevance of the program. This success reinforces our commitment to providing an informative and unbiased learning experience. We look forward to continuing this initiative, furthering our role as educators in the industry.
